IBM PartnerWorld Industry Networks (PWIN) had an untapped opportunity to sell the unique value of its membership, bringing in new members and driving mutual success for IBM and its Business Partners. DeLaune and Associates developed a new unifying theme for PWIN—one that emphasizes the benefits of advanced membership—in order to increase participation in the PWIN program. The challenge was to promote PWIN from the perspective of the IBM Business Partner. To meet this challenge, we suggested a new approach: identifying, interviewing, photographing and shooting video of selected IBM Business Partners, and letting them explain in their own words how the program helps them.
The resulting campaign included a program brochure that could be emailed to Business Partners or printed for distribution at Business Partner events, a sales flyer describing program highlights for prospective Business Partners, and a Flash file linked to PWIN’s web site landing page using dynamic graphic animation and compelling Business Partner testimonials to promote the value of the program.
