Ernie brings to DeLaune nearly 20 years of experience providing copy and
marketing services to high tech companies. On the agency side, he has
been a writer and the manager of writing teams serving clients such as
IBM, Compaq/HP, Citrix, and StorageTek. On the client side, he has been
an advertising and marketing communications writer for the mainframe
company Tandem Computers and the direct mail pioneer CompuAdd
Computer Corp.
Ernie also has worked as a newspaper and magazine journalist, a
freelance writer of books and documentary films, and a teacher of
journalism. A native of North Carolina, he holds a B.A. in English from
Hamilton College in New York and did graduate work in architecture at
the School of Design at North Carolina State University..
